I'm a supervisor in an electric utility company based out of Chicago. Our energy technicians (ET) are experiencing difficulty removing the covers from raceways due to rusted hardware. Our current process for removing these covers requires the ET to grind, saw, chisel, or drill the rusted hardware away from the raceway. As a result, the ET is required to install a Jiffy lock on the raceway to secure the cover because the original mounting surface and hole for the hardware is unusable. This product decreases the amount of time needed to remove rusted hardware from raceways. It's a hit amongst the employees and was approved for use by our safety and engineering department. Currently, we're in the funding phase of our process and will be adding this product to our supply catalog for purchase and distribution. Thank you for a great product!
